Yakisoba Sauce
Ingredients

– ¼ cup soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (or hoisin sauce for a vegetarian option)
– 1 tablespoon ketchup
– 1 tablespoon mirin (or rice vinegar)
– 1 teaspoon sugar (brown sugar or honey for extra depth)
– ½ teaspoon garlic powder
– ½ teaspoon ginger powder
– ½ teaspoon black pepper
– 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional, for extra richness)

Directions

1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, ketchup, mirin, sugar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and black pepper until well combined.

2. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more sugar for sweetness or soy sauce for saltiness.

3. Stir in sesame oil if using for extra depth of flavor.

4. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Serving Suggestions

– Toss with stir-fried noodles and vegetables for classic yakisoba.
– Use as a marinade for grilled chicken, or beef.
– Drizzle over fried rice or stir-fried vegetables.
– Serve as a dipping sauce for dumplings or tempura.
