Silver Heart Cake

“Silver Heart Cake🎂❤️”.

Recipe for Heart Decorated Cake (in ounces):

Cake Ingredients:
8 ounces all-purpose flour
8 ounces granulated sugar
4 ounces unsalted butter
4 ounces milk
2 ounces vegetable oil
2 ounces sour cream
2 large eggs (approximately 3.5 ounces)
1 ounce baking powder
0.5 ounce vanilla extract
0.25 ounce salt

Frosting Ingredients:
16 ounces powdered sugar
8 ounces unsalted butter
2 ounces heavy cream
1 ounce vanilla extract

 

 

 

 

 

 

Decoration:
Silver edible beads (amount as needed)

Instructions:

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a square cake pan.

2.Cake:

-In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

-Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

-Mix in the vanilla extract.

-In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

 

 

 

 

-Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, vegetable oil, and sour cream, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.

-Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

-Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.

3.Frosting:

-In a mixing bowl, beat the butter until creamy.

-Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until smooth.

-Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract, and beat until light and fluffy.

4.Decoration:

-Frost the cooled cake with the prepared frosting.

-Pipe rosettes along the top edge and shells along the bottom edge of the cake.

-Create a heart shape on the top of the cake using silver edible beads and scatter additional beads around the heart.
