Choose the Rhizomes: Select organic rhizomes with multiple growth points.

Prepare the Pots: Use large, deep pots with good drainage. Add clay pebbles at the bottom. Fill with potting soil mixed with river sand. Plant the rhizomes flat, leaving some parts exposed.

Provide Optimal Conditions: Place the pots in a warm, sunny spot with indirect sunlight. Maintain consistent moisture. Water moderately until the roots establish.

Prevent Pests: Occasionally move the plants outdoors for better airflow and to prevent mealybugs. Use a cotton ball soaked in alcohol to control infestations if needed.

Harvest: Harvest mature ginger after 9–10 months, or for a more citrusy flavor, after 6 months. Look for drying green parts as a sign of maturity. Divide harvested rhizomes for continuous growth.
