Ingredients:
2 kg chicken, cut into pieces
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Directions:
Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and sear the chicken until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
Glaze the Chicken: Arrange the seared chicken pieces in a single layer in a baking dish. Pour the glaze over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated.
Roast: Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and the glaze is bubbly and caramelized.
