Discovered this breakfast hack a month ago and can’t stop eating it!

There’s something truly comforting about the aroma of cinnamon wafting through the house, especially on a crisp Midwest morning. This Keto Cinnamon Spice Cream Cheese Danish is a delightful low-carb treat that satisfies those pastry cravings without derailing your keto lifestyle. Inspired by my love for cozy weekend brunches, this recipe is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a sweet, guilt-free breakfast or snack.

These danishes pair beautifully with a hot cup of coffee or a frothy cappuccino. For a more substantial meal, consider serving them alongside a fresh spinach and avocado salad or a simple scrambled egg dish. The lightness of the salad or eggs complements the rich, creamy texture of the danish perfectly.

Keto Cinnamon Spice Cream Cheese Danish

Servings: 6

Ingredients

1 cup almond flour
2 tablespoons coconut flour
1/4 cup granulated erythritol
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup melted butter
1 large egg
4 ounces softened cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons powdered erythritol

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, granulated erythritol, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.

Stir in melted butter and the egg until a dough forms.

Shape the dough into 6 circles on the prepared baking sheet, creating a small well in the center of each for the filling.

In another bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and powdered erythritol until smooth.

Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the wells of the dough circles.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the danishes are golden and set.

Allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Variations & Tips

For added texture, mix in a handful of chopped pecans or walnuts into the dough. If you’re a fan of fruity flavors, top each danish with a few fresh raspberries or blueberries before baking. For a more indulgent treat, drizzle with a keto-friendly glaze made from powdered erythritol and a splash of almond milk.
