Chocolate Lava Cake Cookies

 

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

6 oz soft or melted chocolate truffles or chocolate ganache centers

 

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.

Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until combined.

Scoop dough, flatten slightly, place a chocolate truffle in center, and wrap dough around it to seal.

Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.

Cool briefly, then enjoy the molten chocolate surprise!
