Chocolate Ice Cream Dream Cake

 

Ingredients:

For the crust:

• 200 g (about 2 cups) chocolate cookies (like Oreos), crushed

• 80 g (about 1/3 cup) melted butter

 

For the cake layers:

• 1 baked and cooled chocolate brownie layer (9-inch round)

• 500 ml (2 cups) vanilla ice cream, softened

• 200 ml (about 3/4 cup) chocolate ice cream, softened

• 100 g (1/2 cup) chocolate chips

• 100 g (1/2 cup) dark chocolate, chopped

 

For the topping:

• Whipped cream

• Chocolate scoops or truffles

• More chocolate chips and shavings

• Chocolate bar pieces (optional for decoration)

 

Instructions:

1. Prepare the base:

Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan. Freeze for 15 minutes.

2. Layer 1:

Place the brownie layer on top of the crust. Spread half of the vanilla ice cream over the brownie.

3. Add chocolate chunks:

Sprinkle some chopped chocolate and chocolate chips over the ice cream.

4. Layer 2:

Add the remaining vanilla ice cream and swirl in the chocolate ice cream for a marbled effect. Sprinkle with more chocolate pieces.

5. Freeze:

Place the cake in the freezer for at least 4–5 hours or until fully firm.

6. Decorate:

Before serving, top with whipped cream, chocolate scoops/truffles, extra chocolate chips, and bar pieces.

7. Serve and enjoy!

Slice with a warm knife for clean cuts.
