Homemade Tartar Sauce

Ingredients
– 1 cup mayonnaise
– 2 tablespoons dill pickles, finely chopped
– 1 tablespoon capers, finely chopped (optional)

 

 

 

 

– 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried dill)
– ½ teaspoon garlic powder
– ½ teaspoon onion powder
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– ¼ teaspoon black pepper

 

 

 

 

 

 

Directions
1. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, chopped pickles, capers (if using), lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.
2. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
3. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.
5. Serve chilled as a dipping sauce or condiment.

– Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
– Stir before serving if stored.
