🍜🥧 Creamy Chicken Pot Pie Pasta Skillet 🥧🍜

All the comfort of chicken pot pie… in one creamy pasta skillet! ❤️

 

Ingredients:

 

2 tbsp butter

 

1 small onion, diced

 

2 cloves garlic, minced

 

1 cup carrots, diced

 

1 cup frozen peas

 

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

 

8 oz (225 g) pasta of choice (penne or rotini works well)

 

2 cups chicken broth

 

1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

 

1 tsp dried thyme

 

½ tsp black pepper

 

½ tsp salt (or to taste)

 

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

 

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

 

 

Instructions:

1️⃣ In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and carrots. Sauté until softened (about 5 minutes).

2️⃣ Stir in chicken broth, cream, thyme, salt, and pepper.

3️⃣ Add uncooked pasta and stir well. Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked and sauce thickens.

4️⃣ Stir in shredded chicken and frozen peas. Cook for another 3–4 minutes until heated through.

5️⃣ Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and let it melt.

6️⃣ Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
